Certified Exporter® Program by
International Import-Export Institute (IIEI)
As local companies expand their foothold globally, it is important for employees to have a good understanding of international trade practices and policies. This helps to enhance audit compliance and shareholder value while minimizing company liability, an instrumental component in the course of your overseas trading activities.
The Certified Exporter® program is an international trade certification program aligned to widely-accepted global standards and is supported by the International Import-Export Institute at Dunlap-Stone University in the U.S. This program is recognized by the U.S Department of Commerce and U.S Department of Labor, and has seen employees from multi-national companies achieving the certification or undergone the training.
This course is designed to let participants acquire a good understanding of international trade practices and policies, and a working knowledge of the standard import-export documentation procedures. Course participants take a proctored online examination at the end of the course in order to obtain the international trade certification from IIEI as a Certified Exporter®.
With this industry certification, foreign counterparts are better assured of your abilities, code of ethics and work professionalism, thus offering a trade advantage and greater ease of mind. Companies will also be leveled on a standard trading platform with their foreign partners, engaging on a "common language" that is accepted by all parties.
